Designing a Shareable Moment for American Eagle at Gov Ball & Lollapalooza
For American Eagle’s two-story footprint at Governor’s Ball and Lollapalooza, I designed a visually dynamic looping video to host their campaign hashtag, #AExME. Positioned at the entrance hallway, my installation extended the physical space into a 3D animated tunnel, immersing festival-goers the moment they walked in. Collaborating with the lighting team, we synced the surrounding lights in the hallway to pull colors from the video, transforming the entire environment in real time.
This ‘simple’ looping video evolved into a five-part experience, so engaging that it became a destination itself—drawing lines of concert-goers eager to create photos and Boomerangs in front of it. Over both the multi-day festivals, #AExME was organically shared across social media, amplifying American Eagle’s brand presence in an authentic and interactive way.
